From the marina at Cap-à-l'Aigle passing by la Rivière à la Loutre, including the beaches of Le Bas de l'Anse and Le Gros Cap-à-l'Aigle.

From the beach at Saint-Siméon to La Baie des Rochers passing by Port aux Quilles, the lighthouse at Le Cap de la Tête au Chien and l'Anse de Sable.

St-Lawrence's Road Baie-St-Paul • Isle-aux-Coudres • St-Joseph (moderate): 16 km

From the dock at Baie-Saint-Paul, paddle in the calm of the largest bay of the middle estuary, across the panorama of l'Isle-aux-Coudres, Le Massif, Le Mont des Éboulements and the valley of the river Du Gouffre, passed the Cap-aux-Corbeaux up to Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive. In calm weather, cross at l'Isle-aux-Coudres for the lunch.

A guided day of sea kayaking (duration 6h30) on the St-Lawrence estuary from St-Irénée, Cap-à-l'Aigle or Baie-des-Rochers.

In preparation for these activities, we take about an hour or so explaining the risks inherent in sea kayaking, the itinerary and daily weather conditions, clothing distribution, equipment usage, safe practices and paddle technique. Then, for each of our day long activities, we spend from 3h30 to 4h30 on the river with a meal break of an hour or so, just to strech our legs and share some interpretation time with the group.

Easy (Facile-F): Route demanding few special skills. Daily distance less than 3 hours and/or 6 nautical miles. Several protected places for berthing and rest.

Moderate (Modéré-M): requires basic kayaking knowledge. Daily route of 3 to 5 hours and/or 6 to 10 nautical miles. Some protected places to land and rest.

Difficult (Exigant-E): Practical knowledge of paddle techniques, navigation and recuperation. Daily routes of 5 to 6 hours and/or 10 to 15 nautical miles. Few protected places or landing sites.

N.B. : These classifications can be modified due to extreme meterological or oceanagraphic conditions.

Petite-Rivière-Saint-François (easy): 9 km
From the dock at Petite-Rivière-St-François, discover the briny portion of the middle estuary. We paddle before the immensity of "Le Massif of Charlevoix" and then the prairies with "Le Mont des Éboulements" and l'Isle-aux-Coudres.

Reception : Petite-Rivière-St-François "Le Parc des Riverains" at the municipal dock. .

Baie-Saint-Paul(easy): 9 km
From the dock at Baie-Saint-Paul, paddle in the calm of the largest bay of the middle estuary, towards le Cap-aux-Corbeaux or le Cap Maillard, across the panorama of l'Isle-aux-Coudres, Le Massif, Le Mont des Éboulements and the valley of the river Du Gouffre.

Reception : Baie-St-Paul, 210, rue Sainte-Anne, municipal dock.

Saint-Irénée(easy): 9 km
From the beach of Saint-Irénée, discover the very accessible central part of Charlevoix's shoreline at the foot of Le Mont des Éboulements, we discover Le Ruisseau Jureux, l'Anse au Sac and Le Cap aux Oies.

Reception : Saint-Irénée, 180, Road 362, parking at "Au Père d 'Antoine".

Cap-à-l’Aigle(easy): 10 km
From the marina at Cap-à-l'Aigle, navigate towards La Pointe le Heux, the escarpment of Cap à la Baleine and the riverside scenery of the "barachois" and La Malbaie.

Reception : the dock at Cap-à-l'Aigle, rue de la Grève.

Saint-Siméon(easy): 10 km
From the municipal beach, paddle through one of the most unspoiled sections of the Marine Park shores, encounter sea mammals and discover the baies of Port-aux-Quilles or Port-au-Persil.

Reception : Municipal campground, parking on the ferry dock.


A half-day of guided sea kayaking (duration 3h30) on the St-Lawrence estuary from Petite-Rivière-St-François, St-Irénée, Cap-à-l'Aigle or Baie-des-Rochers. These are easy routes between 7 and 9 km, adapted as a beginner's activity.

In preparation for these adventures, we take about an hour or so explaining the risks inherent in sea kayaking, the itinerary and daily weather conditions, clothing distribution, equipment usage, safe practices and paddle technique. Then, for each of our half-day activities, we spend from 2 to 2h30 on the river with a beach break of 20 to 30 minutes before returning, to share some interpretation time with the group.
